Book Discussion – Would You Rather Have An Annoying Main Character or A Bland One?

Annoying characters, they can be hard to escape. Some days they drive you nutty, you want nothing more than to reach into the book and shake them to their senses.

You: DO NOT GO INTO THAT DOOR!

MC: *opens door*

You: I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO—

MC: *Narrowly escapes psychopath*

You: IF I COULD GO INSIDE THIS BOOK I WOULD SCREAM IN YOUR FACE.

Bland Character Scenario:

MC: *eats toast*

MC: *washes dishes*

MC: *Eats toast*

MC: *washes dishes*

You: *yawn*

Please don’t scream at your book people, everything will be okay! I’m here today to question you and your book habits with another round of Bookish Would you Rather.

Would you Rather have a main character who drives you nuts, or a boring character?

Personally, I’d have nether but this IS Would You Rather so YOU MUST CHOOSE ONE XD

Brianna: I think I’d rather have a bland character because frankly, if I can’t stand a character, I might not read the book. Just because the main protagonist is a bit boring it doesn’t mean that the story will be too :O

Angelina: I’d rather have bland characters as well because I agree with Brianna. If the main character annoys me waaaayyy to much I’ll just drop the book and scream in frustration, really, annoying main characters bother me SO much!
