Book Tours

The Princess Saves Herself in this One Blog Tour Sign Ups!

It’s finally here everyone! The first ever tour hosted by the Book Nook Blog Tours created by I Turn the Pages and us!

I asked on Twitter to see if anyone was interested in signing up and this tour was born, thank you all for your excitement :).

What kinds of tours do we offer?

For now, we are kicking off our FROM NOOK TO READING NOOK tours. Some of the bloggers may be familiar with this as an ARC TOUR or a mailing tour. One book is sent from blogger to blogger to review or create their own features on. Bloggers are responsible for sending the book to the next person, and for this reason, it would be US only, unless you are international and would be willing to pay shipping both ways.

But, we want to put our own spin on the traditional tours. For the FROM NOOK TO READING NOOK tours, we would love to involve the authors in every way possible. We would love to have authors for interviews, guest posts, and any other content. We want to branch away from reviews and offer both bloggers and authors a chance to create unique content & market the book in brand new ways.

We are planning to start off doing just the blog to blog review feature, where you read and review a book then send it to the next blogger. This review feature will be US only, unless someone can ship overseas or you can buy your own copy. It’s open to all bloggers who will review the book on their blog, goodreads, amazon and/or Barnes & Noble. We just want to help advertise these books as much as possible πŸ™‚ cross posting is always appreciated!

Before we get to the sign ups, here are THE RULES

*cue dramatic music*

1.The blog to blog tour will be for the US only! Unless someone is willing to pay international shipping, but you can feel free to review the book if you buy it yourself, just let us know you want to sign up for the blog tour but you own a copy!

2.YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING! We will not pay for you to ship this book, but here is a VERY helpful tip: media mail! You can ship out books a lot cheaper using media mail πŸ™‚ shipping would probably be like $2-$4 for the US, somewhere around there.

3.Please post on time πŸ™‚ if you need an extension that is ok, just let us know!

4.If you do sign up for the blog tour, you will be given a week to read and review it! Please sign up for a week you’ll have time to read the book! We don’t want the tour to fall behind. The Princess Saves Herself in This One is short (AND AMAZING) so it shouldn’t take you too long :).

5. Let us know when you ship the book and when you receive it. THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT! We don’t want the tour to fall behind, please get a tracking number for the book, please.

6.Like other tours, please only post a review that is 3 stars or better. If you end up not liking the book, you can always change your feature to something else, like quotes you liked, or something. When the tour is over you can post your review!

7. Please let us know through comments here, on twitter (@otakutwins1 or @iamabookjunkie) or through the Book Nook Blog Tour email (booknookblogtours @ gmail . com (without spaces)) when your post is live :).

8. At the end of the tour, we will be giving away the copy of The Princess Saves Herself in this One. So the last person to have the book should ship the book to the winner πŸ™‚ don’t worry, everyone who signs up will be on the rafflecopter, so you will gain some followers/likes. The giveaway will be US only, unless the person who receive the book last is willing to ship overseas. Which brings me to…

9. If you’re the last person to receive the book, you MUST ship the book to the winner of the rafflecopter giveaway! And you must also let us know if you can ship only to the US, or if you can ship internationally. Depending on how this goes, we might always do a giveaway at the end, or you might get to keep the copy. But for now, you have to send it to the winner (sorry D:)
