Top Ten Tuesday- Top 10 Songs We Wish Were Books

This week has an awesome topic I can’t wait to start listing! Top ten songs we wish were books. There are so many book worthy songs out there that just scream WRITE ME. So, here’s our top ten list…

1. Miss Jackson by Panic! At the Disco and Lolo 🙂

The music video seems to have a story, but I bet there’s more to this than we know. Who’s Miss Jackson and what is she? I want a book of this RIGHT NOW! 🙂

2. Out of the Woods by Taylor Swift

Oh my gosh I LOVE how this video was shot, it’s so cool. SDFHKESHRWEKHRKWHE Anyways, how did she end up in the woods? Why is everything dark and scary? Why’s she alone? I want to know more, I want a dark/creepy/awesome thriller book that takes place with her as the main character trying to escape the enchanted woods.

3.  Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance

I am in LOVE with this song and the music video is great too. I was watching how they made the music video and Gerard said that he thinks that death comes to people in the form of the persons most powerful memory. For the guy in this video, his moment was when his father took him to the marching band. The music video looks great, but knowing that story makes it all that much better. I want to know more about “The Patient,” I want to know how he got sick and what happens when the parade disappears.

4. Chains by Nick Jonas

I haven’t seen the music video, so I won’t include it (just in case) so here’s the lyric video! Chains sounds like Nick Jonas is in love with this manipulative girl, and everything in my mind includes magical elements, so she’s cursed him to listen to only her. He made the mistake of falling in love with her, and he doesn’t regret it, so he’s in chains and he wouldn’t change his love 🙂

5. Castle by Halsey

This song just scream The Huntsmen (the movie, it looks great oh my gosh!) Anyways, this song makes me think of an evil witch that comes and takes over a large city (like New York). She becomes the evil ruler of their modern day land and the whole story is from her point of view 🙂

6. The Ghost of You by My Chemical Romance

This music video is what I want to story to be. I want to know about them, their feelings and emotions, it looks powerful and I want the story to be exactly like that.

7. Teenagers by My Chemical Romance

There are SO many My Chemical Romance ones XD, in all honesty, I’ve been listening to them the most so…anyways. Teenagers makes me think of a dystopian society where the adults take in teenagers (who are all problematic) and put them in a jail like place. There they try to keep the scary teenagers in place until their troubled times are over.

8. ANY FALL OUT BOY SONG EVER MADE

But…in this case What a Catch Donnie

I read that there’s a sad story behind this song, something about Pete I think? Anyways, I could find it but I know it’s heartbreaking. A book like this would tear my heart to shreds…

9. Dark Star by Jaymes Young

I LOVE Jaymes Young so much. All of his songs sound so (classy?) awesome, I love them and his voice is amazing. So, I have all his albums xD This song makes me think of this guy who falls in love with a girl but he’s a dark star. Dark star as in he’s got a haunting, terrible past and he’s trying to outlive what he’s done. But perhaps he can’t…

10. Love Me Again by John Newman

I LOVE John Newman too, his voice is great. I never really thought about the story of this song until I played the song in Just Dance. Dancing to that song got my mind working as to what this story would be. The guy has the power to turn everything he touches to dust, he’s (accidentally) killed many people with his touch. But he finally finds a girl he loves and tries to stop the powers, to break his curse. He can’t though, and the girl finds out what he’s done and he needs to know if she can love him again. If she can’t then he will become the greatest villain the world has ever known.
