  1. It’s true what they say – the cover is so important. It sets the whole tone for the book, it helps people decide whether or not they want to buy it. In theory, it doesn’t have much to do with the book. Your words tell the story, the cover is just one picture of the larger world you’ve created with your book, but a fabulous cover can be the difference between a sale and a “no thanks!” It is hard to wrap your head around though because as writers, we are obviously more experienced with words – I mean, if I could draw, I’d just make my own comic books!

    1. The cover really is, sometimes it can make or break a buy you know? Covers are the mini preview of a book and if it looks flashy enough to catch your eye, you’re more likely to read about it. If the cover is bland you may just pass it up. Very true though 🙂 great comment! I agree with you on that.
